Copper Vessel

Copper Vessel pairs two materials that age in opposite directions — copper that will brighten and green with handling, and walnut that will only ever darken. The tension between them was the point.

Each copper band was hand-hammered and torch-formed before being fitted to the walnut base, which was turned on a lathe and left with a simple oil finish so the grain stays visible rather than glossed over.
